Leaves have a great tonal contrast, with a glossy, bright green colour on the top, and a soft light green colour on the underside. An adaptable tree, producing long, ornamental acorns which are lime green in colour before maturing to brown.

  • »  Ovate leaves have blunt, rounded lobes, and are dark green on top, light green beneath
  • »  Insignificant flowers (catkins) are followed by oval to elliptical acorns
